Cambridge

Only 80km to the North-East of London the famous university town of Cambridge is located. The history of the city reaches back to the Roman Empire, but today it is first of all known for thousands of students studying and living here. The university was founded in 1209 and the Peterhouse College was founded in 1284. The construction of the Kings Collage Chapel, one of the nicest buildings in Cambridge, was initiated by Henrik VI.

Cambridge is not only known for the universities, but it is also one of the most important cities in London dealing with computer science. ARM, producing the micro processors for almost all smart phones around the world, is located in Cambridge.
