Millennium Bridge

The Millennium Bridge is the first footbridge in London, with no car traffic allowed on it. It was opened in year 2000, and it is estimated that more than 90,000 crossed the bridge on the day of its opening. Some construction work had to be done on it to secure it better, but in 2002 it was reopened and it has now turned into one of the more modern symbols of London.

The bridge is 325 metres long, it is not straight, but it is shaped more as an “Y”. The view from the bridge is beautiful and crossing the bridge we can get to Saint Pauls Cathedral.
