Tower of London

More than two million people come to visit the Tower of London every single year. Since 1303 they are guarding the Crown Jewels here, and in different rooms, visitors can see different exhibitions and furnished rooms and somehow fly back in time to see what life was like back then.

The Tower has had a lot of functions since its construction. It has served as Royal Palace, as prison and as a museum (modern time).

It is worth using some money on the entrance fee, but if your time is limited, the most important inside to see is the Crown Jewels. In this White tower, you can see the weaponry exhibition and you should also try to simply walk around to get a feeling of the Middle Ages.
