Cartoons from 1914 in the Cartoon Museum

This exhibition will show the work of twelve graphic artists and cartoonists. Take a look at this exhibition in the Cartoon Museum showing how they responded to the wars and events that happened over the years in Europe and all across the whole world.

Cartoon and First World War

The exhibition will let the visitors see the the unique works of the artist, their opinion on the conflicts and wars. Visitors will be able to follow the artists illustrated commentary on the events, issues and incidents that happened and the relation between the countries and the great powers. The pictures and graphics can be seen via the BBC Radio 4 and 14-18 NOW websites. Before it will be released onto the BBC Radio 4 websites visitors will have the chance to have a closer look on the unique artworks at the Cartoon Museum where all the artworks will be on display from 26th June 2014.

Artists of the exhibition includes Steve Bell from Guardian, Peter Brookes from The Times, Kate Charlesworth from The Cartoon History of Time and several other artists as well. The exhibition will be shown from 26th June until 19th October 2014 at the Cartoon Museum in London.
