The exhibition ‘Coral Reefs: Secret Cities of the Sea’ is shown at the Natural History Museum until September 2015 in London.

A Crime exhibition

A Crime exhibitionThere will be a major exhibition on objects of the Police’s Crime Museum shown at the Museum of London. This is the first time the objects of the Crime Museum will be shown in public.

At the exhibition visitors will have the chance to have a closer look on the objects that has never been exhibited before. Since the opening of the Police’s Crime Museum in 1875 the museum was only open for police professionals and for invited guests so this is the very first time visitors can have a closer look on the objects. At the exhibition the UK’s most notorious crimes will be shown with evidence including the crimes of Dr Crippen, Krays and so on. The exhibition also will give voice to the people, victims, police officers and perpetrators who will explain the cases of the crimes and they also will explain how the society reacts on crime or when lives are just torn apart. The exhibition The Crime Museum Uncovered will take place at the Museum of London from 9th October 2015 until 10th April 2016. Tickets for adults to the exhibition are £ 12.50.

Exhibition on early photography

The exhibition ‘Salt and Silver: Early Photography 1840-1860’ will be shown at the Tate Britain from the end of February to the beginning of June in 2015.

This form of the photography was invented by the British William Henry Fox Talbot in 1839. At the exhibition visitors will have the chance to get to know the history of photography and to explore the very few prints that survived the years and it is truly a unique opportunity to see the rarest photographies in the world. The exhibition ‘Slat and Silver: Early Photography 1840-1860’ will be shown at the Tate Britain in London. The exhibition will be on display from 27th February to 7th June in 2015. Australia British MuseumThe exhibition ‘Indigenous Australia, enduring civilisation’ will be shown at the British Museum from from April until August in 2015. This is the first major exhibition held on the history of the Indigenous Australia in the whole UK.

The exhibition will show a wide range of objects which allows the visitors to have a overall picture on the civilization and the culture of Australia. The culture of Australia continued for more than 60.000 years and it still gives home to rainforests, rivers, seas, islands and urban areas. Nowadays in Australia several indigenous groups live across the whole country and each of them has their own culture and language. The exhibitions displays a selection of the perfect examples of the practical objects which are essential for survival. Apart from the most important tools for survival there will be plenty of other objects shown at the exhibition including the magnificent works of art as well. Many of the exhibited objects have never been on display before so this will be the very first time visitors will have the chance to see them.

The exhibition ‘Indigenous Australia, enduring civilization’ will take place at the British Museum in London from 23rd April 2015 to 2nd August 2015. Tickets for the exhibition for adults cost £10 and for children it is free.

The exhibition ‘Defining beauty, the body in ancient Greek art’ will be shown from the middle of March to the beginning of July this year at the British Museum.
