New Years’ Parade

The New Years’ parade in London has been a tradition in the English capital since 1987. It had a break in 2021 due to COVID, but it has returned stronger than ever. Would you like to celebrate the new year with more than 1 million people? Be a part of the New Years’ parade in London!

The march normally starts at 12.00, and it lasts until 15.30. Below is a map of the traditional route for the New Years’ parade.

The walk is approximately 3km. There are several areas along the way where you can pay to have a seat This is a fantastic event in which you can listen to marching bands and choirs and see fantastic performers walk in the parade.

As you can see from the map above, the parade starts at the corner of Green Park, and touches Picadilly Circus and Trafalgar Square. The parade ends by the Parliament and Big Ben.

The British capital will give an unforgettable firework experience to all of the lucky ones who will be there at the night of 31 December 2012. Moreover, there will be free London travel on bus, tube, tram and DLR from 11.45pm until 4.30am and on London Overground until last trains.

The firework will start from the beautiful London Eye, on the famous South Bank of the Thames. The program will just start fifteen minutes before midnight, don’t forget to find the perfect place on the bank of the river, if you don’t want to miss any seconds from this experience.
