King Charles III Coronation

Would you like to celebrate the coronation of King Charles III together with all of England? The event takes place in Westminster Abbey on May 6th in 2023. If you read this, you are most likely not invited to the event itself, but you are still welcome to celebrate with everyone else along the streets of London on this special day.

The British monarchy has a long history of coronations dating back to the 10th century, and each has its own unique customs and traditions. The coronation of a new monarch is a significant event in the life of the British monarchy, and it usually takes place several months after the death of the previous monarch. The coronation ceremony involves anointing the new monarch with holy oil, placing the crown on their head, and various other rituals and ceremonies that symbolize the monarch’s ascension to the throne.

May 6th will be a public holiday (bank holiday) in England, meaning that everyone can follow this event.
