Chelsea Flower Show 2024

Would you like to see and experience a fantastic flower show in London? There is an annual event arranged in May yearly named the Chelsea Flower Show. It is arranged in the garden of the Royal Hospital Chelsea, and it attracts more than 150,000 visitors each year. That number could easily be bigger, but there is a limit to the number of visitors allowed to enter the area.

The flower show has been arranged since 1912 and it has a fantastic reputation. The royal family visits the show every year, and many other celebrities take a look at the show besides the royal family. If you want to visit this event, you need to purchase your tickets online before you arrive. It is probably smart to arrange with your tickets as quickly as possible due to the limited number of tickets available.

As you can see above, the first two days are only available to RHS members, meaning that you should plan on visiting the area on Thursday, Friday, or Saturday. You could, of course, become an RHS member. The price of a RHS membership is more than £50 per year. This membership will give you free entrance to the garden throughout the year, except for the time of the Chelsea Flower Show.

The entrance fee to the event for normal persons varies between £40 and £70. A ticket for the entire day is more expensive than if you buy a ticket valid between 15.30 and 20.00. But, the tickets are quickly sold out, so you better be quick if this is a program you would like to experience.

The event is arranged by RHS (Royal Horticultural Society). This is a fantastic organization that works all across the UK. They have similar flower shows in other cities, and they educate on topics such as gardening. You can find lots of useful tips and advice on their website.

Ready for a new Premier League season

There is little doubt about the fact that lots of tourists coming to London actually come to watch Premier League football. The fact that the matches are played in London is just a bonus, but their final destination is not the Big Ben or London Eye, but White Hart Lane, the Olympics Stadium, Stamford Bridge and Emirates Stadium.

New as of 2016-17 is that West Ham United will play their matches at the fantastic Olympic Stadium. The stadium has been standing empty for a while, but finally a Premier League club will make this stadium their new home. If West Ham United can keep up their nice pace from their last seasons, the Olympics Stadium might in fact turn into a beautiful home for one of the top clubs in the English Premier League.

But, when it is time for the Premier League kick-off on August 13th few people will actually look for what is going on with West Ham. All eyes will look towards Chelsea with their new coach Conte, to Manchester City with their new coach Pep Guardiola and of course to Manchester United with their new coach Mourinho and their two star signings Ibrahimovic and Pogba.

The first weekend with Premier League football

This upcoming weekend will be a time for two fantastic London matches. On August 14th it is time for Liverpool led by Jurgen Klopp to come to the Emirates Stadium to play against Arsenal. That will be a fantastic start on Premier League football in London this season, but we should not forget about August 15th either. On that day we are ready for a London derby as West Ham United will travel to Stamford Bridge to play against Chelsea.

There is little doubt about the fact that football fans from all across the world will look to England in the coming football season. If you want to follow the Premier League as well then you can read more about how you can watch the Premier League online at

London rejoice with Chelsea and Arsenal

With two London teams in the Champions League group stage everyone in London watched their TVs yesterday evening or sat in a pub watching Arsenal play against Olympiacos and Chelsea play against Porto. Well, the most lucky ones were at Stamford Bridge watching Chelsea beat Porto 2-0.

Chelsea and ArsenalBefore the evening started there was a fear that the Champions League would continue without more than 1 team from England in total, and that team would be Manchester City. But, luckily due to the heroic matches played by Arsenal in Greece and Chelsea in London the English football is not in a crisis, because 3 out of 4 teams qualifying for the Champions League knockout stage is not that bad at all really.

In Greece were Arsenal played Giroud became the big hero with his three goals, while Chelsea as a team played heroic football and Mourinho was cheered on from the stadium as the team managed to qualify for the knockout stage.

We are really happy about this and that means that we will be able to watch some really interesting Champions League knockout stage matches in London in the early months of 2016 as well. That means that you have one more reason to visit London in 2016, and right now if you are in London we encourage you to check out and visit all the different Christmas markets in town and maybe celebrate the success of Arsenal and Chelsea there.

Tonight Tottenham, a third team from London, will play against AS Monaco at White Hart Lane. Spurs will qualify for the knockout stage in the Europe League no matter what will happen tonight, but hopefully Harry Kane and Christian Eriksen will play some magnificent football and lead their team to an easy victory and a comfortable group stage victory tonight.

The match between Chelsea and Swansea City will be played at 17.30 on August 8th at Stamford Bridge, in other words, at the home ground of Chelsea in London.
