The history of Sicily

Sicily is the largest island in the Mediterranean and it has given home to different cultures and civilizations throughout history. Now you can get to know the history of Sicily at a temporary exhibition in the British Museum.

In the period between April 21st and August 14th the exhibition named Sicily: culture and conquest will be shown in one of our favorite museums in London. The island has a special history with a mixture of cultures and people who have been ruling it.

The exhibition will tell the history of Sicily from the arrival of the Greeks and all the way till Norman rule in the 11th-13th century.

The entrance fee to this temporary exhibition in the British Museum is 10 GBP.

Would you like to know more about Rome in the 19th century? Visit the British Museum for a temporary exhibition showing the works of Francis Towne.

During a visit to Rome in 1780 and 1781 Francis Towne produced a whole lot of watercolors and know you can see all these together in a temporary exhibition in the British Museum in London. The exhibition opened on January 21st and will be on display until August 14th.

On the pictures you can see ancient baths, famous attractions in Rome such as the Colosseum, the Palatine Hill, Forum and much more. There are totally 52 pictures on display and all these pictures have not been displayed together since back in 1805.

Watch Leonard Cohen live in London online

Leonard Cohen has been out touring the world several times and he is a man with a fantastic talent and a beautiful voice. During the summer of 2008 Leonard Cohen had a concert in the O2 Arena in London and if you would like to watch it online, then you can do so until March 14th.

The Norwegian TV channel NRK has the concert available on their website, meaning that you can watch it their easily until March 14th in 2016. The recording available lasts for 40 minutes and during this period you can listen to some of the biggest Leonard Cohen hits from history.

Notice that if you want to to listen and watch the concert recording mentioned above you will most likely get an error message because the program is supposed to be available to Norwegians only, but if you are a big fan of Leonard Cohen you will try to fix this. Justin Bieber is a big hot shot and even though he sometimes might disappoint his fans like in Norway in the autumn of 2015, he will still do his best to serve his fans and here you can read more about the upcoming Justin Bieber concerts in London in 2016.

Justin Bieber was discovered on YouTube and who thought that you could get such a fantastic career just by uploading some videos of yourself singing on YouTube. Well, this was maybe what happens to one in a million, but for that one artist it sure is fantastic.

There will be several Justin Bieber concerts in in London in 2016 and the first concert will be arranged on October 11th in the fantastic O2 Arena. There will also be Justin Bieber concerts on October 12th, on October 14th and on October 15th.

If you would like to be there at one or more of the Justin Bieber concerts in London but suffer from the fact that they are all sold out, then you have no reason to feel sad anymore. Mariah Carey concert in London

Maybe all you want for Christmas is Mariah Carey, but it did not seem to succeed in 2015. But, now you can at least enjoy one of her concerts as she will come to London in March 2016. The Mariah Carey concert will be arranged in O2 Arena on March 23rd.

The Mariah Carey concert will start at 20.00. If you want to be there as she enters the stage in the O2 Arena then you can buy tickets for the concert at WorldTicketShop.

During the concert you will probably get to hear a lot of songs from the newest Mariah Carey album which has the title #1 To Infinity. If you do not own this yet you can buy it on .mp3, CD and vinyl from Amazon.com.
